Tripod set up

Tripods are... theyre important because....

Step 1- Point the tripod so that you have the side with 2 legs facing you and the side with one leg facing where you will shoot, this provides a place for you to stand between the two legs making it more comfortable and less likely for you to trip over.

Step 2-  Undo the clips that release the tripod legs, starting with the top clips is important as they are the thickest and they will provide support whilst you set up the rest.

Step 3- Make sure all the tripod legs are even to the ground, otherwise, it may fall and you risk ruining your shot or worst case, your camera could break!

Step 4- If you decide the height of the tripod is not to your desire, you should first adjust the legs instead of raising the center post, this is because the legs have more stability. Of course if you want extra height after adjusting the legs completely then you can raise the center post, but it may cause your camera to be unstable.
